Northeast of Wallowa is Wallowa Whitman National Forest, explore the forest roads with opportunities for camping, fishing, hiking, and mountain biking. Visit Minam State Park on the Wallowa River, or Wehana Wildlife Area on Grande Rhonde River near Troy.
